Canaan Community Church endeavors to reach out in Christ's name to all ages and walks of life in our community.

    
  Adult Ministries    
  Adult Sunday schools are a time to dig into God's Word, interact with others and take ownership of Biblical principles for yourself.  They just happen to be fun as well!              
    Connection Groups meet at church, and in various homes,, Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm.  It's a Biblical way to share ideas, friendship and support.     
             
                         
     
 

Youth Ministries

    
     
Sunday morning the teens can be found in a study, discussion, or viewing a number of thought-provoking videos designed to help young people find and follow Christ in the challenging culture of our day.


Teens also participate in AWANA, Games Night,  and take various excursions to see how God is at work in other places and ministries.
 
   
     
 

Kid's Ministries

    
 

Our vision is to help children apply Bible truths through creative lessons and to see that God loves them.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
AWANA

Canaan's AWANA covers K through highschool.  We meet Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM

    
 

There are innovative Sunday school classes for all ages.  Canaan Sunday school is after worship service and fellowship time at 11:00 AM

    
           
           

WHY PLAY INDOORS?

    
           

   
        PBS stands for VBS IN THE PARK!

Summer is no time to be stuck indoors.  So we move our VBS to the Park in Heritage Lake.  There's lot's of games and a fun new way to learn what God has to teach us.

    
   

SUMMER CAMP

    
 

We want to see our kids exposed to the broader horizon of God's Kingdom.  Each summer we plug our kids into a great Christian Summer Camp.  Places like Camp Allendale where they can go and grow.

Especially in these uncertain times, there are more and more good people who need a little help.  Canaan's food pantry is there to offer food on an on-demand basis.  If you need help or want to contribute to our food pantry, just give us a call at (765) 386-2887.  We promise someone will get back to you.

   
PRAYER MINISTRY
     
 

A number of years ago we had an idea.  What if we simply posted the question on our local internet bulletin board, "How can we pray for you?"  Since that time, our prayer ministry has prayed for thousands of people from all over the country.  And we continue to focus on the prayer needs of our own community.  Canaan is a church that believes deeply in the power of prayer.

      
                     
 

Music Ministry

    
  Praise Team meets 3 times a week to provide a variety of musical styles by which we can worship.  Our musicians and singers are serious about bringing our congregation into a spirit of worship.  And we get a lot of enjoyment out of it!

Our keyboardist also plays a large part in bringing the right spirit to our worship services.

    
 

Fellowship Groups

    
 

Canaan is always looking for new ways to fellowship.  The ladies have formed the Women's Group that meets monthly and enjoys a wide assortment of interests from crafts to nutrition.  They welcome all the women of our community for a casual time of just enjoying each other and learning a little something new.
